It’ll be “Katie bar the door,” Marine General John Kelly says

The Pentagon’s top commander in South America has warned that if Ebola surfaces in Central America or the Caribbean, there will be a stampede of people heading north across the Rio Grande to the U.S. to escape the disease.

“If it breaks out, it’s literally, ‘Katie bar the door,’ and there will be mass migration into the United States,” Marine General John Kelly, chief of the U.S. Southern Command, said Tuesday. “They will run away from Ebola, or if they suspect they are infected, they will try to get to the United States for treatment.”

Well all they have to do is leave Africa, come to Mexico, and just stroll across the border. It doesn't need to 'come to Central America' as in an outbreak there.

Jesse Jackson, Dallas lawmaker blame racism for Ebola patient’s death

Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price and the Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. have made similar arguments this week that Thomas Duncan, the first patient diagnosed with Ebola in the United States, died because his race and lack of “privilege” kept him from receiving the care he needed.

“It is historical what has happened in this community,” said Mr. Price, who is black. “If a person who looks like me shows up without any insurance, they don’t get the same treatment.”

As someone who has spent many a night in a Dallas ER watching the sons of Obama coming in with the sniffles and going to the head of the line while nearly severed but completely insured fingers were backburnered for hours, I can personally attest to the utter BS of that statement.
