As little as 5 years ago you could google how much people contributed to the world wide pollution and carbons in the atmosphere and it was less than 1%. It was a really small amount but I have noticed that all of that info has been scrubbed. The links between the Earth and Sun have been proven in relation to the poles shifting, coronal holes causing earthquakes, the ozone layer, the magnetic shielding, and flipping of the poles affecting, not just Earth, but all of the planets. All of this data has been out there for all of us to see for a very long time.

The facts are NOT settled and many scientists say that it is ridiculous to try and change the climate via people when they cumulatively have less than a 1% impact in the best case scenario... but that didn't keep Al Gore from making million$. Here is one such study.

Today we have something different. Militant green peace. The new cult members of the "save the planet" variety will kill you to save the worms. They are so blissfully ignorant of their own hypocrisy that they will mow down all of the crops to put up solar panels to "save the planet". What brazen audacity and ignorance. Nobody else can be right unless they agree with their cause. There are no dissenting opinions. Too much is at risk to offer a counter argument.

So what's the point? Fear. They need our consent to do their criminal activities. Recycling saves the environment right? On the side of a trash truck in California it said recycling has saved $6.1 million dollars last year. That company didn't do the sorting of all those cans and glass, you did. They made $6.1 million dollars off of YOUR labor. You didn't make a cent. Mean while the board members laughed as they got us all to work for them while driving their Hummers and flying all over the globe. THIS is the green new deal. You work for free to save them money while killing yourself in the process and they live like kings on private jets.



It takes 55,000 tons of earth moving to make just one of the battery cells in an electric car. Have you seen the size of those trucks? They aren't electric. How long would you have to drive that car to make up for the gas they burned so that you could feel superior? Longer than the battery lasts.

 

If people are the cause of global warming (source) why haven't these green zealots addressed the ever growing human population. US population is expected to reach 450 million by 2050 and the world population 9+ billion up from 6 billion. How you go about limiting the human population growth is a another issue. The first earth day there was a cartoon called pogo and the cartoon said it best "we have met the enemy and he is us"

 

I keep pointing out, if humans were so bad for the planet, we should have destroyed the place between 1874 and 1986!
Between 1939 and 1945, the world saw the greatest amount of man made pollution in all history, and yet the needle didn't move a single decimal point, global warming may be a fact, but it ain't man made, and going green ain't gonna fix nuffin!

Climate change is a dieing religion. According to Gallup the number of likely voters who believe "global warming or climate change" is the nation's biggest problem has been steadily declining over the last 10 years. It's been at 2% for a while now. Global warming believers are a very tiny but very noise minority.

 

So 2% of the Whitehouse global warming leftist dictate to 98% of us who don't buy into it something is wrong here

 

Interesting, skimmed over an article by the National Weather Service on "Climate Change" the other day. It said basically that claims of increased hurricane and tropical storm activity are due to better detection technology and that many of the storms in the past that have occurred were simply missed. There were basically as many storms then as there are now. I didn't read through the whole article, so don't know what else is in there.

Should be an interesting read when I get a few minutes to sit down and do it.

They think there were more land falling hurricanes on the US mainland between 1885 and 1930 at any 45 years period since then.

Just learned that the mid line of South America had a 100 year drought that cleared the indigenous humans out of the area for years before the Spanish were building ships and then a major flood that dropped 6 feet of mud in an area some time before the drought. circa 300BC

They always discount/ignore the feedback systems that balance out biological systems.

Here are two of them grossly oversimplified:

1. As CO2 increases so does plant growth. As plant growth increases so does oxygen production by plants. Eventually this stabilizes with the help of the O2 feedback system below.
   
2. When O2 levels exceed their nominal level of 21% forest and other fires increase in proportion. As the oxygen producing plants burn natural oxygen production decreases to 21%. If oxygen levels drop below 20% natural fires also decrease allowing plant growth to increase.

Basically biology has had countless generations to adapt to nature and the laws of physics and chemistry. Humans just aren't very significant in the scheme of things.

One thing stands out in the Geological history, other than the cycles...... Each cycle ends with a High temp/High Carbnon/Nitrogen/Methane content right before steep crash into a COLD very long cold period, then a steep increase in temp spiking up just as fast as it dropped. The Earth for the last 15,000 years has been in real sweet spot. Temps peaked up but leveled off and have been very stable since the last ice age. Climate is changing, the climate is always changing and the Climate will continue changing until the sun turns into a red giant and burns the earth into a tiny charred cinder. Looks to me like the natural order of things is heading for maybe a little more peak heat before walking us off the edge to the steep drop in temps. Primitive Humans managed to survive and advance just fine through the last ice age. I wonder is modern more advanced humans will fare so well through the next ice age.
