I just got an email from my buddy, he went to pick up my XD-45 today! He is bringing ti back to my house to put in my safe. It will be waiting for me to get home on leave in May to be shot. Any suggestions on how to get sleep between now and then?

Well, that would be nice, however, alcohol is a Article 15 offense here, so that won't work

That would be all we need. A drunken monkey flying over people. Can you imagine the trouble? Haha. And I don't think it's considered polite to do a fly-by mooning. [kissit] [LMAO]

In order to make yourself good and tired enough to sleep there is an Army motto: Run, Run and When you are Tired, Run some more. Of course you know this. Haha.

Be safe Sniper and can't wait till you are stateside so we can get a field report on the new weapon.

For everything you do, this Bud's for you. [beer]

Go get yourself some NyQuil. With its alcohol content, it'll get you by.

That's what my platoon did in basic training[booze]

This is my latest acquistion, an AR15 M4 carbine....[winkthumb] :D

I will shoot my xd-45 some more and let you know how it feels. Give you something to look forward to when you get home.

Conager, how much did you pay for that if you don't mind? That is almost exactly like the one I carry, except I have the Knights rail for the fore grip. I am wanting to get one when I get home so I can have a replica of my issue gun. Is it a colt?
Thanks guys. By the way, one of the company's I fly with is called the fllying monkeys. They have a patch with one of the monkeys from the Wizzard of Oz with wings. Their motto, Fear the Monkey.

Did you get the 4" service model or the 5" tactical model?
14 rounds of .45 is a lot of "hey you!"...

It's the four inch, that way I can use it easier for concealed carry. Earth tone. My buddy that bought it for me is going to take a picture of it before he puts it away in my safe.

    Congratulations, Sniper!

You might sleep well knowing that your safe's a little fuller. (?) Sweet dreams.

Funny, my platoon did the exact same thing. 1987 Ft. Dix New Jersey.... 4th Platoon Renegades ... Hoo-rah! ;)

(god I can remember that crap like it was yesterday, they say you never forget your drill sgt. and I haven't)

I got the M4 Carbine for $680 via a trade with a new Sony PS3 that I had.

It's a Global Tactical lower on a flat top Stag Arms M4 upper, and it has a RRA telestock on it. I have since installed a YHM rear BUIS, an ARMS #5 riser mount for my red dot sight.
