I would assume a ham license will be required if this gets approved and sold. Any idea how far long they are?

I see nothing about needing any license and they are slotted to ship summer of 2015

This will be Type Certified for CFR47Part95 Services. (FRS/GMRS, MURS) to begin with. Ham use is already approved, and they expect to get CFR47Part90 Certified later in the summer. I am on the list for the first Public Sales.... don't even know the Price, yet, but it doesn't matter, I want two, ASAP....

You're not the only one :) The convenience of having an additional radio is good, in my book. I only wish they had more specs available.
