I had a customer today just blow me away! He had already ordered 6 knives (none of which I've gotten to yet) but today he tells me he wants to spend $7500 on knives for our troops. He had wanted 4 to go to Iraq - now he wants to outfit a platoon! I don't even know how many I can make, but I told him $225 each and that's a discount price. If anyone here wants one I'll charge the same $225 with sheath (leather or kydex) since I'm making so many. The one Seacowboys ordered will also get this price (worked on that one tonight!). So lemme know if you want one - just don't be in a hurry to get it!
Oh yea these are made of CPMD2 or ATS-34, have a 6" blade and are 12" in length. I generally use brown micarta for handles and 1/4" SS pins.

Yea, and you know I was suprised when I went to sharpen the top edge for the first time as it's not hollow ground so it's kida coming out like a chisel edge. I had never considered that as I wasn't going to sharpen them but I may have to change the way I grind the top edge so it's truly a knife edge.
When I get to country I think I'll give you an order. Always good to have a knife for those special times.
No, but Lifter did start using a sewing machine now and quit taking orders until he gets all these done. He said 3-4 weeks and they'll all be done so we will see.
