Gun Lube recommendations?

    I just hose it down with break cleaner and lube with 3 in 1 oil. Works for me.

    I use a very light oil with graphite. It gets cold here.

    I also use light oil and graphite here in La. Does not make a mess,easy to clean.

    ^^^^^ I've been running Lucas gun lube in all my guns for about 5 years now. One lube that seems to suit my ARs well.

    Lucas doesn't seem to "dry out" the way my CLP does. That said I can't speak to extreme cold weather, you know below 20 degrees. :D

    LOL I have no intention on trying out the 20 degrees thingy, Maybe some of the AK polar bear type gents give it a test?

    If this mini ice age thing is real we might have to move further south than Louisiana. It makes me cold to watch those Alaska shows in the middle of summer.

    Probably the best, any synthetic of the lighter grades. Used sparingly. In colder climates pure graphite or light silicone spray.

    Bump..
    This came up on another forum and of all things BALLISTOL is being used for wound care and jock itch?
    The product is not okayed in the good old USA but it seems okay in Europe.
    I'm not recommending doing this one way or the other....But ?
