Yes I stole this recipe from Hanzo right here at Survival Monkey. Where it was posted, I am pretty sure after a short amount of time people would forget who posted it, and or even the name "Honey Cakes". at the very least the Recipe portion of his post, needed to be transferred here.

I warm up about two cups of honey (not hot, just enough to make it more malleable)

Add dry stuff to mixing bowl:
about 2 cups of corn flour (can use white or whole wheat or whatever you want)
about 3/4 to 4/5 cup flax meal (I normally use corn meal)
about 1/5 to 1/4 cup chia seeds

That's it for the dry stuff. You can make it how you like.

Pour in the honey and mix

Pour into a baking sheet with the little holes (I added the cupcake paper cups for the first time and will do so every time from now on.)
Lube it up (used Pam and butter in the past. Not together) Used coconut oil today

Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes (I did 18 today)

That's it. Because honey doesn't spoil and the dry stuff lasts long time, the honey cakes will last indefinitely without refrigeration. Pop one or two when you need it. Pack a couple on the trail. Good stuff. I like eating it best while drinking coffee. Tastes good and the honey and caffeine combo is really good and long lasting. Like 5 hour energy.

PS; from TacmotUSN, Hanzo, thanks for the recipe !!!
