Been prepping for about a year now, still consider myself a newbie. I think its harder coming into changed perspectives, attitudes, and awareness later in life. Better late than never. I didn't grow up with weapons, even though I was a Navy Brat, but had my first chance to shoot a 30-06 a few months ago. I thought I would have a problem with the kick, I'm pretty small, but I didn't. Hit the target center bullseye from 200 yards - loved it! Now if I could just get my husband and sons on board, instead of thinking I've lost my mind, that'd be great!
WELCOME Hope ya have luck with swaying the family ,it's better than half the battle to have them with you.
Nice shot! Welcome. It's hard to convince someone of this kind of thing, you can only plant the seed and let it grow. Once they are aware of the alternatives, you see it EVERYWHERE. They'll come around.
