    I bought this hard bound herbal guide at Amazon and although I will not advocate for the abandonment of traditional "Modern Medicine", I was interested in what herbal alternatives might be available. This is a very nice book, well laid out, and I am enjoying going through the pages and learning about the different uses of these plants.

    A LOT of books on the subject, not a lot of GOOD books on the subject. This one looks like one of the good ones.

    I'm just getting into this one. The history of herbal medicine is interesting as well as the advent of modern medicines derived from herbal sources.

    My grandma used to have an old book on natural and home made remedies . For years I've wished I had gotten more info on that book. I remember looking thru that book occasionally ,, it seemed to cover everything from head to foot .
