<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /> It seemed that the FA91 would be a natural match for one of the 22 conversion kits to let me plink with a full sized HK without burning up expensive 308 or risking any damage to the aluminum receiver. I acquired the conversion kit but found that the 22 bolt has a projection on the rear lower right (as seen from behind) that stops it from fully going into the receiver. This looks like a metal bar welded to the bottom of the 22 bolt assembly such that it projects just a tiny bit too low. 2 minutes working with a flat file would take the difference off, but with as much invested in the conversion kit as in the rifle, I hate to modify anything without asking for help! Has anyone here installed one of these kits before? If you were in my shoes would you take a few hundreds of an inch off the conversion kit? Any advice is appreciated and thanks in advance.
