Recipe Homemade Onion Soup Mix

Many quick easy recipes call for Onion Soup mix. It is pricey to buy and loaded with sodium. I found this recipe which is simple. Also because it is do it yourself, one can always substitute regular beef bullion with a lower or no sodium/gluten free/non-gmo or whatever bullion you use. You could also use vegetable bullion.

HOMEMADE ONION SOUP MIX
INGREDIENTS:
8 tsp. dry minced onion
1 tsp. onion powder
4 tsp. beef bouillon or 4 cubes
1/4 tsp. celery salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Mix all ingredients together. If using beef bouillon cubes, you will need to crumble them**.
2. 1 recipe is the equivalent of one Onion Soup Mix packet.

** If the recipe you are using the mix in calls for any sort of hot water, there is no need to crumble the bouillon cubes since they will dissolve.
