    I first heard the term cathead,referring to biscuits,back in the 70s when I was working construction..one of my co-workers sometimes offered me one of his mom's catheads.Sometimes I took it and they were good.So,even I,southern born,southern bred and when I die I'll be southern dead,didn't know what a cathead was until relatively late in life.So maybe I've accused larryinalabama falsely..
