My bank is 450 AH and serves us fine. I was shamed the other day by someone that felt that was inadequate. So, how big is your bank?
450 AH @ 12 Volt. Of course, I'm only running a travel trailer. Under certain circumstances, I've run out of power (inverter went in to low voltage disconnect) before the sun came up. It's happened twice and it's not a very nice thing to do to batteries. So I guess the question is, how far are those batteries of yours discharging before the sun rises so that the solar panels can begin to assume the load and recharge them? The more they discharge as a percentage of their capacity before recharge, the shorter their little lives will be.
1200 ah @ 12v...and growing. Low voltage disconnect is set @ 12.7v, just to keep things from going stupid
