    I was surfing around sites about zombies :) No kidding.

    That's when I learned the acronym TEOTWAWKI. So I started googling with that term and others like "survival", and "tshtf". I'm pretty sure (90%) I got here straight through google rather than a link from another site.

    So I showed up on the doorstep like a stray dog and won't leave ;)

    I think you had given me a call when we were over at Warrifles and I saved your number yet hadn't returned your call.... Then, I called you one morning at about 4:20 am your time. (didn't realize the time zones) and we spoke for about 45 minutes or 3 hours. One or the other.

    Glad to have you here Bear. You are a Rock in a savage sea of information. I hope to meet you someday. If the S doesn't HTF first!

    I was on another forum, it sucked out loud, everyone flaming everyone else,
    someone posted a link to this site, as I recall it was the front page with area's of information and a link to the forum, so I started reading, liked what I was reading so I signed up

    I was googling for "survival and prep" stuff and found the site.

    Found out that there was lots of great info here and little in the way of "it's my way or the highway" attitudes.
