They don't even list speed anymore. 30 day rolling snapshot. Mobile devices, Mobile OS' and Mobile Browsers are the biggest movers OS Browser Mobile Devices (not set) must be some of you deep incognito monkeys
It only applies to tiggers. For tiggers are a wonderful things. Their heads are made out of rubber, and their tails are made out of springs......
Enter from search engine, read and hit Back without engaging the site in any other way. Common in forums/sites that have high search engine rankings. I contribute to bounce rates a lot in my searching for information.
And I bounce between Win, Lin, iOS and occasionally OS X. I would love to figure out how to display myself as Not Set
No idea really. I think on certain anonymizing packages you can actually tweak your info to say you are using X instead of Z browser or maybe 'none' Been a long time since I was in that deep privacy mode but I'm betting that's it. It's probably @ghrit - always pretending to be technically challenged but instead is really a Linux developer and closet survivalist who remains anon. ghrit =
I hedge on the fact that I think if you are trying that hard to keep what you say private, in an open forum environment, you are a big target by the letter boys to see what you are saying. I would rather keep my thoughts around the campfire vs out in the open to be a point of record, for them to use against me later on....
Mine is 1G down, who knows up. Hughes Net Gen 4. Used cellular with a booster before that, cuz my ISDN (anyone remember that 110Kbps) modem died and no one could fix it (or wanted to) and no ISP wanted new ISDN customers, oh well. Of course when you would talk to some 19 yo kid and say "ISDN modem" they would just go "huh?" My company's VPN had so much latency time my dialup would cause page timeouts so they paid for the ISDN before we parted ways after my last deployment and when it bellied up it was hard to find a replacement for access. All I can get where I live. "Letter boys"...hhhmnn? Must be that cooking school, culinary institute of America, or northern surfers association. Have a new smokin laptop coming in tomorrow too, with a screen big enough to see 17"+. Will put Ubuntu on it as soon as I verify that it works for warranty purposes. You can always go to different search engines, use Linux open source and use security software for local protection. I am contemplating using a paid email service with encryption and canning the freebies I have.
Well, I now am using BitMessage for all Family Comms, with encrypted Skype as a backup... The GPG encrypted email is now relegated to third down the List, for encrypted Comms. For Realtime Encrypted Messaging I am using CryptoCat, running thru my own Server. The OnePad System is also still in use, with Family PADs preGenerated and Distributed for use on UnEncrypted Comm Links. Three is Two, and Two is One, and One is NONE..... .....
My speed test results are, Downloadspeed:1.787Mbps Uploadspeed:0.837Mbps I checked my internet speed test here ScanmySpeed.com . Is this good or not
DSL Download - 14.83 Mbps Upload - .85 Mbps Tested here Speedtest.net by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test
Ours ranges quite a bit. When things get heavy it might go down to 4Mb/s down and 1Mb/s up. When all is good maybe 38Mb/s down and as high as 32Mb/s up. It averages with time of day and user demand. Well we had "another" stoppage of our internet. The tech came by and changed a filter in the system and it's up again. Up but only with about 12Mb/s up and 4Mb/s down. It's one of the downsides of living in Montana.
