how to make some shoes (Viking style)

looks comfy...although I don't think they'd last very long. That's basically what a pair of Keen sandals look like with a pair of socks on. I have about 5 pair of Keens, and while they're ugly, they're tough. I still have my first pair (bought in 2000?) and still wear them.

They appear to ve almost identical to the old Scottish shoes. Some were made out of raw deer hides that they just cut then wrapped around their feet in a look similar to a mid length boot.
