Howdy. This is AxesAreBetter. I am coming to y'all from places elsewhere, looking for a new forum to call home. I do bushcraft, historical living, preparedness, and traditional martial arts. I am in the ridiculously long process of getting a forge up and running. It is always something. I do a lot of historical martial arts and I take it seriously. I also require some serious kit, because I seem to break everything that I buy. Been learning how to do everything in my spare time, what I can get of it. Never enough money to go around. Haha. Spears, battleaxes, swords, work blades are on my list. I am currently making whitewood bows to try and pay the bills until I can get the forge cranking. The woodworking skills are needed to produce quality and period correct bladed tools anyway, and it is good prep for SHTF, from keeping the door up, to arming the guard.
