    Sad that the American population is so shallow that the events of the past week (Sandy) have swayed them to one candidate.
    I heard it said today on some show or other that people consider Obama a hero. For what, Libya?

    I was praying for sandy to suck dc, NYC (especially manhattan and frb member banksters) out to sea and drown them. Alas, it was not to be. frick.

    You are correct fine simian! I'm getting ready to move to @chelloveck 's neck of the woods. I hear that the outback is nice if you like solar, not much water and are fond of poisonous insects and reptiles. Sounds like a nice safe place to me.

    I want to get on a boat and simply sail away. Tonight I feel as though I no longer care to participate in what this country has become. I can't effect change but I must live with the consequences of those who believe the basic tenets of our country should be abolished. I am without hope. It may come back tomorrow or the day after that but for tonight, my heart is pounding hard beneath my breast

    Exactly what I was thinking; and would have edited my post above had I not been in the shower. Right now, I'm so depressed that coming up with a logical course of action just isn't possible. Legal means will take just as long as the next 4 years of waiting, with or without action, legal or illegal. I'm not too certain that the US will come thru the next 4 years whole, and that scares the (****) out of me. That was never an eventuality I prepare for.

    Tom Brokaw is, right now, carrying on about fixing the voting system. Problem is, to my mind, that the systems are not uniform and a mix of the old hand counting and new dependence on technology. Let's go back, says me. I can beat the hell out of a cheating human counter, but the computers are too easy to mess with and don't respond to whippings.

    Since I'm on a rant, what's the deal with "early" voting? Are there really people that have to take 4 days or more to get to the polls? Too feeble to stand in line to carry out their civic duty? Get them a chair, then.

    Other savants have mentioned that zero's "leadership" in the Sandy debacle may have swung some votes. Is the electorate that feeble minded?

    Civics and civility are lost to modern Americans. This was the nastiest campaign season I've lived thru. Just awful. Lies, exaggerations, misrepresentations, unfounded "promises" all over the place, and guilt of one type or another left, right, and center. Mitt even promised to create 12 million jobs. Asinine, and likely impossible. And worse, completely ignores the check and balance of the legislature that would strangle him. Just call me Diogenes.

    If I still had a boat, I think I'd load it up and sink it. As it is, I need a post hole digger that can handle rock.

    Trump's tweets might be close, calling this whole charade a travesty and makes the US a world wide laughingstock.

    Well the poisoning of the Supreme Court will continue until it looks very much like something the Politburo created. Unions, the Black Panther Party, and other subversive groups will be further empowered and probably be used the supplement the "O"s civilian force. The coal industry will be further throttled until shut down. The only meaningful oil drilling and energy production will be overshadowed by the Chinese and Russians doing their drilling very close to or on our coastlines.

    The population that wants more free stuff will demand more and "O" will oblige. Many more hurtful executive orders will be written that will further diminish our cherished Republic. Education for our youngsters will continue to spiral down into the sewer of death panels, euthanasia, socialist thought, degradation of family values, continued assassination of the family unit via alternative life styles, expansion of the "Rights of women" to control their bodies at the expense of the increased genocide of real lives as infants in the womb with butchers gleefully tearing those precious little miracles into chunks of blood, meat and bone, and God's design horrifically splayed out onto tables with hubris and heinous design.

    Our heroic military will be expended in further bad interventions coupled with disastrous Rules of Engagement.

    Christians will come under more attacks and they will be defined as what is wrong with the USA and so those bitter clingers to their guns and Bibles will see a rapid increase in attacks. Starting with assault weapons bans, semi-auto gun restrictions (rifles and pistols), taxes on weapons, taxes on all reloading supplies, taxes on ammunition, and of course, more detailed tracking of purchasers of anything self-defense.
    The Muslimes will be successful with full help from the "O" to define as hate speech anything seen as a negative re: Islam, Mohammad, the koran, or the suras. Other faiths and belief systems will continue to be fair game.

    Caucasians will continue to be marginalized as the enemy as espoused by black theology helped by their new Muslim friends.

    All this bad stuff will continue until the US$ is dumped as the world's reserve currency. Bad follows bad until the "I wants" see their EBT cards registering $000.00. When the riots start and the fragile just-in-time delivery system fails, then various forecasts of regional fiefdoms and or civil war begins........
