    To quit smoking........open a can of Coke while watching a game on tv......light up a smoke.......placed the butt in the can of Coke and "forget" about it.......ten minutes later pick up the can of Coke and drink from it......................problem solved.

    I was pucking for ten minutes and never smoked again.

    I have been watching quite a lot of commercials on television for law firms which claim to defend people's families who have lost a loved one to suicide due to Chantix use.

    I am not saying that it will cause suicide in every case it is used, but I certainly hope that you don't lean that way -and I hope that you do quit smoking, Don. :)

    By brother took it a while ago and started smoking again, he had no suicidal thoughts, but he also didn't keep using it either. He will probably smoke until it takes him. My Dad still smokes and he has only one lung and requires oxygen hookup. Smoking is just plain possessive, addictive, and extremely lethal.

    I believe you can quit forever. I did, and I will never look back. Nine years and counting, man!

    One of my motivations is going to the lung Dr. and seeing a whole waiting room full of people holding their oxygen tanks. No way!
