Ok, I'm cutting the cable cord in the next couple of weeks. I will have high-speed internet and alarm but that's it. No home phone, no cable tv. Here's the thing, I still watch 3, maybe 4 TV shows: Doctor Who and Orphan Black (BBC America), The Walking Dead (AMC) and Falling Skies (TNT). I have both Amazon Prime and an Apple TV. The question is, does anyone know how quickly episodes are available with the "Season Pass" or whatever it's called on each platform? It looks like The Walking Dead is already available on Amazon Prime (it aired on Sunday) but I don't know how long it's been there. Doctor Who is on Hulu Plus but not Orphan Black. Falling Skies doesn't appear to be on Hulu Plus either. Hulu Plus is available on the Xbox 360, Apple TV and the Wii, Amazon Instant Video (Prime) is available on the Xbox and the Wii (but not the Apple TV...not interested in jailbreaking the Apple TV yet). So, I guess the question is: Does anyone use HuluPlus, AppleTV and/or Amazon Instant Video and how quickly are shows available after they air?
