I bought one of these Swiss army multi tools before Christmas and was given one that same Christmas .
The flash lights are useless but the space they take is just enough to put something a bit more practical IMO.I made a marlin spike to fit the place of the flash light ,for undoing knots and aligning holes for sewing and for bolting machinery together and a bunch of other things as well. ..
this is more than repurposing something ,but making a more practical tool out of it.

I have never heard of anyone altering a Swiss Army tool. That is a cool idea because some things I never use and they do take up space.

    That's a great idea .
Actually a spare car key there wouldn't be a bad idea either.
