Amen Brother. I had name confusion problems also. I wasn't quite sure if my name was Damnit or Jesus Christ, but I sure heard it alot. And for years I thought walking with only one foot occasionally barely touching the ground while being held by one arm getting my butt beat was normal.... who knows. I did turn out pretty well though. I know plenty of my peers who didn't.
Yup... I had a few go-arounds with a willow branch switch... I have yet to forget that, and that was an awfully LONG time ago! (say about 50!)
When my daughter started to walk, she also started taking books off the bookshelf. When she took one down, she got hit with it. Now she only takes magazines down.
BTW, I really HATE the taste of IVORY bar soap! Yukkk! As my 8 kids were growing up, I refused to allow that stuff in the house.... I cant stand the smell of it even today!
