    This is my favorite rendition. I will have it played at my funeral. I am Choctaw not Cherokee but I haven't found the Choctaw version set to music like this one. I have the album this is from, it is a group called Walela which features Rita Coolidge, her sister and cousin. All members of the Cherokee Nation.

    People who know me ... know that I have always followed a "different" path... just ask guys like @melbo and @Hanzo

    This is a little long but just about sums it up for me... (and I'm an old fart and like these sometimes forgotten great actors and showtunes ;) really it's worth watching the whole thing )

    I listen carefully to the words... and try my best each day... waking until sleep...
