ohh hmmm… well he didn't even have any survival gear
glad your being entertained yard. feel free to chime in any time
We even had American indians in the wars. Learn a little history.
Pro shooter, deer rifle, and martial arts training...
Sure he did, his mind. He had enough knowledge (which you lack) to know HOW to survive.
Pass the popcorn, I've got the beer.
…..well I'm going into the woods to learn proper survival skills
See you in the funny papers....
more like front page news looking like conan all the babes by my side
I think you meant coroners.
Those are pallbearers....
I would love to chime in and express my true thoughts of where you are and where you are going. You have no idea of my experience or technical ability and that is cool, you never will. I learn.... daily in this verse.
But I will share this thought or maybe two.....
My step-son was very similar to you when he was your age... he is about 10 years older than you now. He was raised by his father in a bucket of shit... no shit... you are not the only one with a sad childhood/teen age life. Many of us have... some still do in their adult years, yet they persevere and try/work/fight/grow/learn and eventually make something of themselves.
He worked odd jobs, tried to live off the land, sell drugs and whatever stuff he could do from one day to another. He has multiple kids with multiple women. He has two states after him for child support and they reek havoc upon him.... he has done jail time, suspended license and so on... it is the bed he made. I damn near shot him one night when he lost his better judgement due to alcohol.....while living in my house.....
He has worked about every odd job under the table to make it through this world.... and more times than not, he was screwed by an unscrupulous employer. Many out there will screw you working under the table, it is not a myth but a reality.
He is thirty-one now and is finally making a go at a normal life, but still struggles and his ADHD comes out from time to time with stupid decisions for him, his job, and his family.
We do way more than we should for a man of his age, but he is family..... if it was not for us, he would probably have been incarcerated for a stretch or living in a shelter somewhere, or maybe his car we bought for him..... We do what we need to too keep him above board and on the right side of the law. It cost me a lot of money... monthly, to make sure he is fed, he has car insurance, a phone to call mom, and the ability to take care of what he "needs" to.
I see you in this same vein as he is... you are young and you can change your road... but I fear you have little positive influence in your life. If we as Monkey's can give you a positive push, then we have succeeded in our mandate to share knowledge and help you learn. If we fail and you do not heed our advice, your choice is just that, your choice.
We here, are to learn and be better prepared for hard times..shtf... whatever you may call it. Many of us have extensive experience in several area's. If you do not want our information, lessons learned, or input on your quest to die in the woods, so be it. No loss for me... I have enough on my plate.
I've said i appreciate all advice and the time people took to help me and i am very happy you guys help me. nobodys gonna screw me under the table because i would get back at them 10 times worse. thats real nice you would do that for somebody always nice to nice stories like that.
@Yard Dart bless your heart for doing what you do to help your step-son and his family. He is very blessed to have you. You're a good man and a good role model, lets hope he absorbs all the knowledge you share with him.
As for you @theojysofliving-
Wrong! Stop putting so much energy into getting back at everyone. Instead use that energy and drive to focus and achieve your goal.
life is what you make of it.
I'm just saying anybody thats ever done me dirty tried to snake me get over on me I've always got back at them. usually through the form of several broken windows car/home scary threatening emails and very creepy stuff like seeing the person and saying you know exactly whrer they are this exact second and will always be watching. its pretty fun i get joy out of it. breaking their flower pots slashing tires i have many ways of getting back at people
I'm betting he makes it, who wants to cover my bet?
Only if he takes what he needs from other people who have earned it, like that "hermit" discussed here a short while ago. He will live by theft and bresk-in, if he lives at all.
No, I will not take your money, it would have soured, and I would receive no joy from it.
yea always bet on me! I'm gonna make it and I'm not going to break into peoples houses wtf. i live by the laws of karma and for the past really long time I haven't stolen (except big chain stores) i am always nice to everybody i talk to I'm never rude and I'm very considerate iv been given 20 dollar tips at my job and told i was the nicest most respectful person they ever met
That verges (actually is advocating illegal actions) on a violation of CoC item 4. Consider this your last warning, anything more gets you banned.
