As you can see the weapon attachment point is where the scope mount would be so it is super solid. Also that the weapon is mounted on a divider board that catches all the brass and away from the weapon and in the case.

If you need the weapon in your hands in a hurry you just unlatch the scope mount with the single point lever.

Neatest everyday carry is a tennis racket cover. You can put an AK folder with 20 round mag in one and sling it over your shoulder. Wear a tennis cap and you will never be given a second look. Have a couple covers that I bought at yard sale/Goodwill for @ $1 each. Have a glove and sun visor tied on one for better camo.

 

Hanging a small hand towel off the strap is not a bad move either.

On the commercial models of Carbine carriers you can cut off a set of tennis shoes and hang them out of the mag pouch, each shoe end has a mag nestled inside and the pouch is already open so instant silent access.

Add a bit of stink and even the most courious will go away.
