Insides of a lock...

    Yes the guns themselves are something to see...
    With just what went into the making of them and the history that they may have been involved with.

    Funny that you mention the Bible..
    At one rendezvous a fella wanted to know if it was okay if he took some pictures of my rifles...with a King James Bible from 1840...that was neat...seeing the Bible and some rifles of the same era together....

    I do enjoy showing and telling of these old guns...I , as you picked up on , also try to avoid any political statements with them , as well...other than :
    Showing folks that you can indeed be around guns , knives , arrows etc...and not get hurt or killed...that guns themselves , are not objects to be feared...
    And maybe pass on a little better understand of guns , gun owners and history as well as my love of each to another person.

    I'll certainly post more on these old guns and muzzle loading in general...if folks show an interest...Ura-Ki has already suggested a tutorial on gun flints...so I am thinking and scheming of ways to do that.....
