    So..anyone know much about them?
Have any experience with them, or know someone who does?

My daughter..has scoliosis....Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar...she was in the Milwaukee Brace for years....(the guy that designed it modified it for her so she would not feel so embarrassed at school...and she ended up wearing it during class and at nights only..)

Her curvature is so bad they wanted to put the rod in her back..but she refuses..(It doesn't look bad...but the pain is bad....)

When she was in High School..she was so active ; wtih cheerleading, gymnastics, softball and track , that she didn't have much trouble...actually, none.

Now she is a Jr in college..and more sedentary than she used to be , and consequently in pain a lot of the time..

I have signed her up here for Pilates classes...I heard that will help..

Laura is in a great deal of pain if she stands for more than 10 - 15 minutes...I mean stands still.....
and since she is planning her career around being a Nurse Anesthetist...this could present a lot of problems....

But a lady I know , she is 52...and started with an inversion table and taking horsetail orally...? She started this about 2 mos ago ..and says for the first time in 30 yrs she is pain free....Apparently she uses it for 5 minutes, twice a day.....and got almost immediate results...

I am looking in to buying one for Laura..and wondered if anyone had ever used one for anything..or has any stories....

Reading about them...well it all sounds good...

Appreciate any information anyone might have......

    Thanks! [winkthumb]

I saw one here for sale used for $150. That was a few months ago.

Basically a way to hang yourself upside down for awhile right? Sounds like it could help straighten things out to me...

From all I have been reading..it actually reduces the curvature!

    Yeah..upside down..twice a day...

Hmmm...wonder if it would increase blood flow to my brain???? ;)

I'd be interested in hearing more about it also. My daughter has disc problems. She gets an epidural every 3-4 months which is the only thing that eases the pain. The inversion table might help her too.
