Inverter generator

    Using a Xantrex (Schneider Electric) XW4024 inverter. Currently using a 3500KW generator to maintain 1125AH batery bank along with 960 Watt solar. Can a 3500 Watt inverter generator be used with the current inverter? If the load is small and the 1/2 horse well pump comes on, will the generator increase its output fast enough to not cause a glitch?

    If that is the new nubers for the Trace SW4024’ then the Inverter will supplement the Genset when the load causes the genset to to drop below the Loe Frequency SetPoint... That is how my two Trace Inverters work...

    YES , just limit the gen support and charging amounts. 100 is full gen power , 35 is 35% of your stated KW that you program in

    Yes...the battery bank will act as a buffer.

    Probably mis-typed it but a 3500 kW generator is one mighty big genset, would run a small to medium sized city. You must've meant 3500 W or 3.5 kW.
