The 9/11 terrorist attack on America which left almost 3,000 people dead was an "inside job", according to a group of leading academics.
Around 75 top professors and leading scientists believe the attacks were puppeteered by war mongers in the White House to justify the invasion and the occupation of oil-rich Arab countries.

The claims have caused outrage and anger in the US which marks the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on Monday.
But leading scientists say the facts of their investigations cannot be ignored and say they have evidence that points to one of the biggest conspiracies ever perpetrated.
Professor Steven Jones, who lectures in physics at the Brigham Young University in Utah, says the official version of events is the biggest and most evil cover up in history.
He has joined the 9/11 Scholars for Truth whose membership includes up to 75 leading scientists and experts from universities across the US.
Prof Jones said: "We don't believe that 19 hijackers and a few others in a cave in Afghanistan pulled this off acting alone.
"We challenge this official conspiracy theory and, by God, we're going to get to the bottom of this."
In essays and journals, the scientists are giving credence to many of the conspiracy theories that have circulated on the internet in the past five years.
They believe a group of US neo-conservatives called the Project for a New American Century, set on US world dominance, orchestrated the 9/11 attacks as an excuse to hit Iraq, Afghanistan and later Iran.
The group says scientific evidence over the attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon is conclusive proof.
Professor Jones said it was impossible for the twin towers to have collapsed in the way they did from the collision of two aeroplanes.
He maintains jet fuel does not burn at temperatures high enough to melt steel beams and claims horizontal puffs of smoke seen during the collapse of the towers are indicative of controlled explosions used to bring down the towers.
The group also maintains World Trade Centre 7 - a neighbouring building which caught fire and collapsed later in the day - was only partially damaged but had to be destroyed because it housed a clandestine CIA station.
Professor James Fetzer, 65, a retired philosopher of science at the University of Minnesota, said: "The evidence is so overwhelming, but most Americans don't have time to take a look at this."
The 9/11 Commission dismissed the numerous conspiracy theories after its exhaustive investigation into the terror attacks.
Subsequent examinations of the towers' structure have sought to prove they were significantly weakened by the impact which tore off fire retardant materials and led the steel beams bending under heat and then collapsing.
Christopher Pyle, professor of constitutional law at Mt Holyoake College in Massachusetts, has dismissed the academic group.
He said: "To plant bombs in three buildings with enough bomb materials and wiring? It's too huge a project and would require far too many people to keep it a secret afterwards.
"After every major crisis, like the assassinations of JFK or Martin Luther King, we've had conspiracy theorists who come up with plausible scenarios for gullible people. It's a waste of time."
But University of Wisconsin assistant professor, Kevin Barrett, said experts are unwilling to believe theories which don't fit into their belief systems.
He said: "People will disregard evidence it if causes their faith to be shattered. I think we were all shocked. And then, when the voice of authority told us what happened, we just believed it." As the fifth anniversary approached, the 9/11 Scholars for Truth is urging Congress to reopen the investigation claiming they have amassed a wealth of scientific evidence to prove their version of the terror attacks.

My point is that for evey expert on parade there is a rebuttal expert grooming his dog and pony, but the matter that the attack was engineered by those with a higher political agenda is perfectly in keeping with past performances. And that's all I'm gonna risk saying about it because I don't want to become the invisible man.

I still dont think it was an inside job, not enough proof for me. I saw planes crash into the fker how can that be a inside job????????

Quig, there is no denying that planes flew into the Twin Towers, I saw it LIVE with my own 2 eyes that dreadful morning. However, I have to agree with Seacowboys some of the days events definitely don't add up. I am in no way accussing anybody of anything. Further discussion elsewhere? I don't have any proof but do have a few questions. :D

Just some thoughts from me until the PTB show up and drag me off to my padded cell. :D

Before 9/11 if you tried to sneak anything through security, it didn't take that long for them to grab you and haul your butt into a little room for a nice 'cavity search'. Okay, so that shows that someone was awake at the airports at that time.

Before 9/11 the airport restrictions were a bit of toughness not like today however, just more stringent than anytime in the past. So someone was worried this might happen or something like it.

During the events of 9/11 several people got on board planes with different 'weapons' and took over. They got through security with them. They got past the sheeple on the planes. They even got away with flying with the blackbox turned off.

Now, think back on another air disaster in our past. Oh don't worry about those blips on the screen, that's just seagulls. Then all of a sudden Japanese zeroes were making minced meat out of P.H.

Someone was asleep at the wheel for that.

Now, think on this.... If you know there is a plane flying around without answering you. You also know that plane is flying without a transponder thingy on. And it is deviating from it's normal flight plan. I'd say you could pretty much 'Profile' it as a hi-jacking. So why did they do nothing about it?

They had intel that said it was being planned. They had intel saying many things that gave them the information they should have acted upon. So that only leaves two explanations as to why steps were not taken. First, everyone at the airports the planes took off from were asleep. The radar monitoring guys were asleep. FCC was asleep. Government agencies were asleep. Okay, let's just say that almost all of America was sprinkled down with vast amounts of sleeping powder and were asleep. That's explanation one.

Explanation two, which is worse, maintains that there was a 'Known' threat that was not acted upon. There was a how, why and ballpark when known and for some reason there was nothing done about it. Now as to the reason? It has not been beyond any politician to wait for a known tragedy to happen so they can use it as a giant 'I told you so' sign to get the ball moving on whatever their plans are.

So, you can see that in order to make the cause of war that more righteous, it is possible to reason that the reason there was nothing done to stop this attack is that it would have hurt the push to war. From which we didn't and have not benefited from unless you count the senseless loss of Soldiers as an acceptable way to control the country's population.

We have gained nothing and lost a lot. Our sanity, mayhaps most of all.

Now where's my white coat? :D

They had thousands and thousands of threats, what do you do, shut down the air ports?
They have been killing Americans for years, Why Didn’t Clinton do something? This came off of his watch.
Hey I know Gore was pissed because he lost the election and paid them to do! Yea there’s # 4 million for a reason to take out the towers.
Nobody thought Japan would Bomb us either …….. but they did….. they had warnings of it “may” happen.

Before 911 you could take knives etc aboard not as much security.
Some can learn to fly a plane.
Or someone can make the pilot fly it and take the controls a few hundred feet away.
How do you explain the cell phone calls from passengers?
Funny you should mention Pearl Harbor there is a conspiracy theory about that too….
There is one for everything that happened in our history.
I may be wrong, but time will tell.
Who shot Kennedy who killed Elvis or is he alive … I can’t remember but how many conspiracy theories can up dig up on those two alone?
The guy spouting the “scientific evidence” is smoking crack
"inside job", according to a group of leading academics.

Just who are they leading in, they are the leading ones out of all scientific academics??????????
Really they are the leading ones out there?
I prefer not to under estimate my enemies, how much shit do they need to blow up around the world before you think they are the ones doing it?
If they are going for world Dominance why start with Afghanistan and Iraq and Iran?
Why send planes into the Towers.
And Let me get this straight who tried to blow up the towers before 911? And why do they want them down in the first place?
    Follow the money

Im still not sure exactly where the truth of the whole thing lays. I know I dont really by the official explaination in part just due to the way the towers fell straight down rather than crealing and if it was that they just followed the steel and concrete center suports down it seems the center supports would have had to be solid enouph to have stayed up rahter than comeing down the same as the rest. At the same time I dont really think it was fully an inside or gov thing. It may have been 'allowed' to happen in order to make it clear that we had an enemy that needed to be delt with among other reasons, it may have been added to in order to make sure it was more devistating (remember Osama braging after the fact that it was 'even more sucessful' than they had hoped) or it may even have been that the terrorists got someone on the maintnance staf at the tower WELL in advance to set things up to help it along (its known it didnt happen days or even weeks after the idea was thought up). I dont know just how it came about or what hidden players may have been involved but like I say I just can buy the official explaination.

I don't buy the muslim extremeist badguy explaination for everything and that's not gonna change. I think you've seen me around enough to realize that I am not gullible nor prone towards myopic opinion. It is what it is and my most vivid recollection of TOGDI (the other guy did it) that aboslutely nobody would believe existed, was the systematic assasination of 40,000 non-combatants by our most elite under the Phoenix directive and how that was denied and lied about right up through the congressional hearings that finally brought the ugly truth into the undeniable.

I know that about you Sea and I respect you, But i cant go along with our Government bringing down the towers, there needs to be something for me to see. The Muslims has the funding to pull this and more off.
There will be a big bomb or bombs blowing up in our country its coming.

Proof.... oh how I wish I could..... on second thought, no, they'd kill me.

Only thing I have to go on is my experience with human nature, and well developed olfactories, keen to the smell of bullshit.

I sincerely understand not believing it was an inside job, it's pretty far out there I'll admit. Please know one thing:

I WANT to believe in my government. I want more than anything else to get the feeling back about my country that I had when I was a gung-ho 18 year old enlisting in the Army to serve what I had come to love so dearly. The sight of the U.S. Flag and the sound of the national anthem used to well up the pride within me 'til I was ready to burst. If I could get that feeling back, I'd charge back into battle today, eager to defend our way of life and the greatest nation in history, ready to risk my life without hesitation in the name of freedom. But after years of being exposed to how things really are, I cannot escape the horrible truth, that it was all a lie. Our government serves neither it's people, nor the ideals of our founding fathers. It's comprised of liars and thieves who sell out their people for pocket change, thier honor for power, and worst of all they have sold out the meaning behind every soldiers death that came before me.

Now when I hear the national anthem, what wells up in me is bile, all I feel is loss and contempt. Loss of everything I once held dear, and contempt for the cowardly thieves who stole it, and dare to call themselves our leaders.

That's how I can believe it was an inside job. /rant

Blackjack, I can relate to what you are saying but my emotions lean towards anger and my fighting spirit is boiling. That is why I spend energy at trying to keep people focused on what is happening because I think the need is there to demand we open our eyes and take back the life and liberty that is ours. I will not raise a hand to strike at our government except to write my outspoken opinion and to mark my ballot. I prepare, as best I can, for the other shoe to drop but the die has already been cast and we are nothing but pawns on a board and as such, cannot foreseeably challenge the royalty. Each of us that spout this opinion are watched and are now officially on the and upcomming Domestic Terrorist Watch-list. It is now concieved as a crime to speak the same words and emotions that our country's founding fathers spoke and there is the true shame. I bow my head.
