Japanese influence...

    I made this one from O1 tool steel and finished it with a charcoal grey oxide. The blade is 4.5" and the OAL is 9". The cotton wrap is covering burgandy lizard skin.

    You know, one thing about me when I started was this rush I had to make knives as fast as possible - heck I still do it. So I made a knife a day for a while but they weren't very good either. You seem to have the patience to work on something until it's right, and it shows. o_O
