Yesterday, as I was traveling from one client to another, I had the radio tuned to NPR where the host and his guest, an elected official from Chicago, were discussing the proposed handgun ban. A person called in and asked the Chicagoan why law abiding citizens should be prevented from owning guns for sport or protection. The guest responded, not verbatim but close, that if the home of the law abiding gun owner were burglarized, the gun would probably be stolen and end up in the hands of the criminals. Therefore, the law abiding citizen shouldn't be allowed to own a gun that would, ultimately, add the crime. And to think the voters of Chicago actually elected this idiot.
These people are trying to remove risk from every aspect of life. You can't do that. It's like energy.. it can't be created or destroyed. All you do is shift it around. These retards can't handle that truth.
Some people view life through a distorted lens and cannot be reasoned with because they are incapable of reason.
