Kayak fishing

Me and a guy on work with put in the kayaks in the gulf today had a little luck I caught a nice red fish lost a few caught some lady fish they are fun to catch but not good to eat a few hard head catfish about a 50# stingray had a good day out

 

This is a old family/home town recipe I know it sounds weird b y sweet pickles and lemons and green olives but if you try it you will have to tight your tongue to your leg or it will beat you to death trying to get more.

 

lemon skin and all? doesnt that make it bitter?

No I eat the skin and all it soaks up the spices and flavour.

It hard to fish off one of those things?

 

No easier than a canoe I hung into a lemon shark about 9 foot long and had a blast until it rolled my line and cut it big fish will drag you all over.

 

Sounds trippy. Not sure I want to hunk about hooking a 9 foot anything. Haha.

The lemon sounds like a rip.

However as a good old Southern boy, this is fishing.

 

Going.back out Saturday going to spend all day think I will take my kelly kettle and cook up some sea lettuce.

 

Today's catch limited out with two 22 inch red fish.

It's a mild fish not strong fishy taste firm meat.
