http://www.wtvq.com/content/midatlantic/tvq/video.apx.-content-articles-TVQ-2008-03-05-0011.html A kentucky lawmaker has proposed a bill criminalizing "anonymous posting" on the web ; to stem the tide of internet bullying "a problem in eastern kentucky"
I cna understand the worry, but come on! Seriously, why should you care what someone has to say online about you? If they can't say it to your face, screw 'em!
The only real reasons I could se for it would not really apply since IPs could be tracked down by LEOs and that would be for finding people who posted illegal crap. Kind of like if they were posting child porn or maybe legitimate threats (i.e. shows knowledge of persons location and states they will kill them or posting open 'contracts' on a person or some such). Aside from those instances which LEOs can find them anyway, I figure its crap since its real easy to not be insulted by people on the web, just dont go to their posts and dont read them.
