I may be in the market for a new laptop used for video editing and Photoshop work. It will need to run windows. This would be for personal and business use(I can write most of it off via tax code) but need to be frugle cuz i will be just getting back to work after a year+ of being under employed. I have a Aleinware Aurora desktop and I love it. Was a work machine from 4 years ago and I took it with me when I left(benifits of being a VP). Since Dell has taken over Alienware the quallity is said to have dropped. So I am looking at Alienware and also ASUS ROG system. In the past when I was building my video editing desktops, I would only run ASUS motherboards so I know and trust them. I own 2 different ASUS factory machines now(i3 laptop and a new i5 all in one desktop for the wife) so I would be open to those as well in a laptop form. I would prefer first hand experience or at least a direct connection with someone who has what you are recommending. As the sniper spotters say "SEND IT"
ASUS. Have two (4 year old tower and brand new i7 lappy.) Gopher it. My elderly Tosh just isn't fast, but it is reliable as a brick.
