I above all love a good lesson on american history, But what I love even more is a good discussion of history I always learn something new.
It is said that "History is written by the victors". So true of what We The People learn in school - been true since man began telling stories. Finding what REALLY happened is often much more difficult, and is still colored by the life experiences of those involved, and those hearing or reading much later. Usually the modern-day listeners commit the egregious error of applying modern feelings and prejudices onto the old writers.
