    Is the author bald?

    No mention of Burdock burrs stuck in hair. Yours, your dog, horse, girlfriend. Miserable stuff. Not high on my list of edibles, but good to know.

    Elephant Ear Plant is toxic

    As has been suggested earlier, accurate plant identification is essential when considering consuming a wild plant. Expert knowledge is essential for guidance. There are close analogues which are edible, such as Taro, but they too may require processing for safe consumption.
