Looking for a high-tech lighter

Update..... the zippo lighters with the ranger bands still light after seven weeks with no refuel..Lookin Good.

 

Ok new update.. one Zippo still lit after ten weeks and sealed with ranger band one did not . I believe the difference is the one that still lit was the smooth chrome and the other was a rough texture crinkle finish which may have allowed the VOCs to escape.

 

Since everybody likely has some handy, you might try the "stuff the Zippo in the Nitrile glove thumb" sealing trick. Just don't forget that your lovely Zippo lighter now looks like a discarded pair of gloves and throw it away.

 

I use their jet flame version of those.
