I'm having to wait for my next two project firearms so I have gone back and I'm looking at getting a 22 bolt gun threaded. Now I'm not looking for a high dollar rifle here. For the weapon I would like to keep it under $500 if I could. Again not looking for anything fancy I would be willing to pay more for a good trigger or if you can tell me of a good trigger to install. This is going to be used as a plinking rifle and to take small game I have a 10/22 and love it. Yet I'm looking for something a little more accurate and quite. I have looked at a few used bolt guns the problem is most are not threaded and at $200 bucks to threaded the weapon I might as well look for a new rifle. I have looked at the Ruger American also Tikka and I believe a CZ bolt gun. If it can have a scope and iron sights I would pay extra for that. Thanks.
