A friend just gave me Makarov in 9x18mm. I fired a couple of magazines out of it and was very impressed with the accuracy. Now I have to go get some more ammunition.
Since the CZ82 (also 9X18 Mak) has become popular with collectors, the price of 9x18 seems to have gone up about 50%. I bought a bunch at samcoglobal.com, but they're out now -- they had S&B by the case at one time. Others that still carry it (or still advertise) are: jgsales.com (used to have 9X18 HP) aimsurplus.com centerfiresystems.com Those are the only places I've bought from in the past year, but there must be quite a few others. If you happen to find 9X18 JHP, be sure to send me a note so I can get a few.
Nice guns and reliable. I got one long ago at a gun show for $100, but it's a .380 with a 12 round mag.
