Making Arrows - Arrow Nocks

    Just made this video, shows how you make the thread windings so they self-tighten and not loosen over time.

    great handwork. suggestion. if you make more, film from side away from you. it will keep your hands from blocking view

    I've used the same technique to attach guides to a fishing rod - the only difference is that you seal the knot with an epoxy or other finish to protect the threads. You can pass the line through the yellow pages to provide some drag and make the job a bit easier. I also like to make a loop from monofilament to pull the thread back through.
