Hog and I were talking about different methods of making fire and Hog suggested the fire plow method,I went into the shed and found some bamboo so went with the bamboo saw method instead. I have to say that this is not my preferred method of fire lighting and I find the bow-drill to be much easier and more fun to do. I have only done this method once and that was 22 years ago in what seems like another life,I did three tries all worked but the first try was a tester,the second I placed the camera in a rubbish position and cut my head off so you could not see me blow the flame to life. Third time lucky but I did spell Groove wrong and cannot change it now as I made the video with captions before I uploaded it to youtube. Anyway I hope you enjoy the video.
