    I heard about this a few days ago. They (the Feds) were going to put him on trial for killing a protected species animal. The outcry against that made them back off, so to save face they fined him. What a crock! This guy should get a medal for not only protecting his family, but also for protecting his neighbors! This bear was obviously a danger and he needed to be put down.
