No big surprise. Obummer's support on all fronts is waning. However as CIC (that's a terrible sad joke), He does not require squat to replace any officer in the armed forces. They serve at his pleasure or not. Sad really. IMO McChrystal seemed to be competent and a pretty good guy.
I think Obama doesn't want anyone smarter than him around. He's gonna have a hard time finding dumber ones though. At least those dumber than him and can still tie their shoes.
Nah, obummer is smart - getting rid of the truly competent officers who might buck his more extreme orders, and replacing them with star-wearing "yes men". obummer does not care about winning wars, he wants CONTROL.
