My thinking is kale added, higher demand leads to higher production which leads to modifying the plants so they grow faster to accommodate the demand. End result would/could be kale that is not as good for you as the traditional stuff. ** side note I think McD's is doing this because there is a movement to boycott them do to wages and being under fire for their unhealthy menu. The profits are down so they have to do something to draw people back in.
Hmm, that is just wrong Of course this coming from someone who lives where "everything is better after a trip through the deep fryer"-even oreos... I'm not a big Kale guy. The wife's uncle(my current partner in crime for most endeavours as of late) loves the stuff and plants rows of it every year.
