Seems that someone is posing as me with a YahooIM account of melbo*** I Only use YahooIM, none of the other Instant Messengers, and not really all that much. My user is Melbo00. If someone poses as melbo with a different UserID, It's not me. Strange, I have been impersonated on a few other boards lately too. The Green Eyed Monster? dunno.
Most likely melbo, most likely. Somebody has it in for you I would think. Looks to me like some people just don't know when it is not to their advantage to leave things alone....could be they want to get themselves in trouble? Dunno.
I'm having a few friends with very superior computer skills look into it now. It's not a crime to impersonate me, but I want to know who they are and Yahoo keeps the IP logs of those that register for the service. They have a really wimpy privacy policy and my 'friends' should be able to glean it from them. I'll update later

looks like it is a USER /Pass sharing system. One would first log in at the real site, and then submit the USER/pass and all bugmenot users could then use it. Just like loaning out your user to a few friends except l;arger scale
