    News from The Associated Press

PHOENIX (AP) -- Seven other Latin American countries want to join Mexico in supporting a lawsuit challenging Arizona's immigration enforcement law.
Bolivia, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Peru filed separate, nearly identical motions to join Mexico's legal brief supporting the lawsuit filed by U.S. civil rights and other advocacy groups.
A federal judge formally accepted Mexico's filing July 1 but did not immediately rule on the latest motions filed late last week.

Mexico says the law would lead to racial profiling and hinder trade, tourism and the fight against drug trafficking.

The law is to take effect July 29. It requires that police conducting traffic stops or questioning people about possible legal violations ask them about their immigration status if there is "reasonable suspicion" that they're in the country illegally.

The world has gone MAD. I must be living in some matrix, pinch me or something! [beat] Mad I tell you!

If the courts don't laugh at other countries bringing a lawsuit against the state of Arizona, a member of the United States as they should be reminded, then our sovereignty is truly questionable. This is a joke and a disgrace and a few other words that are not so nice.

We The People need to collectively 'jerk a knot' in bobo's tail and absolutely demand he DO HIS JOB or step down. We need a President, NOT a professional apologist and arse-kisser........ [beat]

If I owned property that butted upon our southern border I seriously would consider a self painted and constructed sign facing south 8 foot by 8 foot, that pictured someone bending over with pants dropped to ankles, and the caption. This is America!!! KISS MY A$$.

The Governor of Az. Ann Brewer is putting that stimulus money to good use--She's using it to pay for the defense of Arizona's new immigration law against the USA--

You know, that bothers me. Where does the money go that is paid for court costs and everything else during trial? Lawyers. So, if it costs hundreds of thousand or even millions to go to trial, as a state representative -shouldn't the trial cost nothing? You have your own lawyers, paid by the State. The courts are all on State or Federal payroll. Why should it costs a penny? Why can Mexico and every Latin American country sue a State of our union?

INSANITY is not just committing the same act, expecting different results as Einstein concluded -I think it is also the extreme act of idiocy commonly accepted as normal operating procedure. Answer: "Your government is selling you out to the highest bidding drug cartel." Question: "Oh, look at my nails! I am going to need to make an appointment tomorrow to have them -what did you say about drugs? Oh, no matter...I am so happy!"

Decadence will do this to a people.

Arizona is enforcing FEDERAL immigration laws. How can a US judge even consider accepting any filing from a foreign country concerning US laws?

heheheh. Well, if the foreign governments are paying US lawyers (as they must to get heard in Federal Courts) at least a bit of money we gave them will come home. And, then, if we are lucky, those lawyers will buy something made in the USA.
