Here's an interesting article from today's FoxNews.com entitled, "Americans Saving Money By Purchasing Old Military Equipment". There's a LOT of garbage being auctioned at govliquidation.com --I mean TONS of crap. I suppose there may be some deals, but it's nothing like it was in the 80's and 90's. I think most of the "good" older stuff is being sent to Iraq for them to use, or elsewhere. And they don't sell Hummers to civilians anymore either. As for the Keisers and AM General 6x6 trucks -those are trash. Most I see there are 'H' DRMO, which equals SCRAP. Even when those trucks were new they worked like crap. I think the new LMTV, HMTV type vehicles, which replaced these dinosaurs work far better. The $$$ spent fixing those things up will far outweigh the advantage of buying them.
