Hello everyone, I'm not new, as some of the young guard know. I've been away for a while due to probably being one of the first to get covid. Been sick on and off for two years fighting with insurance companies and trying to pay bills. A lot of people come and go here, understandable. Stay and learn because this is a great group. I've missed a lot, but I'm still sucking air. Currently on hiatus from work, just hope I have my kids ready for whatever. Peace and stay ready monkeys. Much love
Thank you. I could've shared my troubles, but that ain't my style. Plus, I was too busy working through it all. The bills don't give two shits. Am I correct in thinking that Tac is gone? That really makes me feel like shit.
Lost quite a few good ones in the last couple years. Time marches on as the old newsreel used to say. Hope you feel better. The Covid has been funny here, a lot of people don't even know that they got it, but others are fighting it for years and a lot of the elderly died around here. Fighting health issues, might be bad, but Docs do all they can, but the medical system sucks system sucks. Have issues that to me can't wait, Dr agrees, but he is booked up solid in surgery until Sept. For me to get surgery, have to bump some one else. They have the nurses, operating room, equipment, huge medical complex serving a fairly large area, direct ties to a major medical complex, which employs about 1,000 people on the "campus", but almost no docs that are able to do surgery and thus 3 month at least wait. Good thing that we don't have socialized medicine according to the critics. No trouble finding pencil pushers to add another level of paper pushing, but can't find Dr's. Don't know about anywhere else but we are getting more and more nurse practionors, Dr's from foreign countries, Ireland and Russia seem to be showing up a lot, Dr's from second tier schools, and minority Dr's manning the emergency rooms and urgent care clinics, may well be good, but they are not surgical specialists and with all the tools they use now, they have to be da** sharp to learn how to use them. Good luck in getting the care you need and hang in there. Pray that it all comes out well soon.
