Batten down the hatches, a tweak to the north and you get more than a little wet.
Thought this was how those guys got their laundry done for free? Just sprinkle a little laundry soap - the first one washes, the second rinses, and when the sun comes out all is clean and dry.
Stay safe, guys, and let us know how you fared...
@Bear, @Hanzo Seems like time to find a slicker quicker...take care, both of you.
@Bear @Hanzo @H.I.S Survival stay safe. I know you will all weather the storm no problem because you are Survival Monkeys. Sorry your Labor Day will be so stormy, you can hold a bbq another day!
While we are at it with storm warnings, the track of Hermine shifted a bit and is about to jump into Theodore, LA. @Seacowboys, keep your storm shutters handy. You too, @tacmotusn .
I think @Bishop said he was expecting rain
He's in the keys, if I know all I think I know. I think the current forecast track won't hurt the keys too badly, but yep, wet it'll be.
Man, You guys all stay safe, nothing like a good blow to dampen the holidays, but hopefully this passes quick!
Cedar Key is a Gulf Coast fishing/tourist community almost straight west from where I am. It is not in "the Keys" south of Miami.
Oops, I need a better geography teacher. @Bishop, you are included now, keep your head down.
Lets not forget those in the Carolinas that Hermine is likely to impact later on...all y'all be safe!
We just got a few inches of rain here and it pretty much flooded all the streets.
