Funny how you hear about it though: I'm collecting 5 gal. plastic buckets for long term food storage. I found a guy selling them used through an ad. Turns out he's an owner/operator of a fast food restaurant. Anyway, I go down there today to pick up a few and as I'm loading them into my truck he asks the inevitable: "What are you going to be using these for...planting?" So I'm like "Yeah... that's it, planting." He goes on to say "I had a guy come down and pick up a bunch last week. Must be a farmer because he's using them for wheat" I had to bite my tongue to keep from laughing. Don't know many farmers who store their wheat in used 5 gallon pickle buckets. I think the usual is a SILO! Then I realized - probably another prepper!
